SULFUR SENSITIVITY
Some Lyme patients often mention sulfur sensitivity so we gathered some information in hopes it may help you. I was taught Zinc, copper, selenium, iron (very small amounts) ....these minerals are all important for sulfur metabolism. "MOLYBDENUM RELIEVES AND PREVENTS SULFITE SENSITIVITY Sulfites are sulfur-containing molecules commonly used in the food industry to keep food looking fresh. SUGAR SUBSTITUTES
I personally love doing a combo of monk fruit, pure maple and coconut sugar in baked goods but I use stevia and monk fruit in other things. What is your favorite? New one by Gregg Kirk : https://lymeknowledge.com/top-5-tips-for-beating-sugar-addiction "Artificial sweeteners like aspartame, sucralose, ace-K and saccharin have been debated for years in regard to their potentially damaging effects. STINGING NETTLE
"Nettle has been shown to inactivate and inhibit the H1 receptors (H1 blocking medications are used to treat allergies) and stabalise mast cells which prevents extra histamine being released in your body. The downstream effect is a reduction in the messenger molecules that contribute to inflammation and allergy symptoms " https://www.byronherbalist.com.au/herbal-medicine/herbs-histamine-intolerance-mast-cell-activation "It may also offer some great properties for mast cell ac

STEROID USE IN LYME
Remember everything can have its place and your Lyme Literate doctor will decide when and if steroids are ever needed for you for an emergency. They can be lifesaving in certain circumstances, but general use is usually discouraged. Here is what we can find on the subject: "Daniel Cameron, MD explains, “An association of steroid use with an increased failure rate or worsening of disease is understandable in view of the well-known effects of these agents on the inflammatory an

STEPHANIA
We found some information on this as we see it mentioned occasionally and it's in a tincture I am taking. "Immunomodulator reduces inflammatory cytokines. Especially good for reducing neural inflammation. Decreases vascular permeability (leaky vessels) from damage by inflammation and microbes (calcium-channel blocker). Good for eye conditions. Side effects: Strong calcium-channel blocker — can lower blood pressure, and constipation can be a real problem with this herb."...

SPIRULINA
I really believe this helped me when I used it. My doctor suggested it. I thought I would share some information on it in case you were interested. I like it for energy, immune system support, and fighting anemia. The benefits go beyond that if you read the articles below. I even use it for a B Vitamin source when I have faced sensitivities and needed to. Hawaiian Spirulina is one of the best per my Lyme doctor. I have used the brand Nutrex because that is what he actually ca

SPERMADINE
I learned about this from my Lyme doctor. He is having me add for mitochondria. I will also provide feedback after I add it. If you take it, please comment below with your feedback. SPEECH / VOICE ISSUES / VOCAL CORDS / DYSARTHRIA
“Lyme can affect the nerves that are responsible for controlling the muscles in the vocal cords,” says Amesh A. Adalja, MD, an infectious disease specialist at Johns Hopkins Center for Health Security. “As a result, someone could technically lose their voice if they had Lyme disease.” https://danielcameronmd.com/can-lyme-disease-cause-speech-issues "This report presents a case of dysarthria due to hypoglossal nerve mono-neuropathy as the only consequence of neuroborreliosis.

SMELL Hallucinations
Smell hallucinations in Lyme have come up a few times, also known as phantom smell. Sensing smoke or a burning smell is reported by many. I've experienced the smell of ammonia and smoke personally. SIDA ACUTA
Sida Acuta is known as effective against Babesia and Bartonella. I have used it personally and felt it helped me in combination with other things. My doctor has me do 20 drops AM and PM. I have no idea if that is common. I believe I built up to that dose. Hard to remember but I usually introduce everything slow so I can assume I did. Many doctors use it. We thought we would make a post with many links to learn. I also attached screenshots for those who want a quick read. Yo

SIBO Solutions Post: https://www.riseabovelyme.com/post/sibo-possible-solutions My doctor often has me use Atrantil and it absolutely works for me. He often goes back to it when I'm having issues. I put an image of it in pictures. Berberine/goldenseal and GSE is something he also uses. I will provide my feedback on those next. I will add those brands he suggests once I receive. Feel free to share your experience. I would love more resources "In Lyme disease, SIBO can devel
