DOXYCYCLINE is most known for this in the Lyme world but there are several with this warning. Herbs, certain essential oils, as well as particilar foods can make us more sensitive to sunburns. We have gathered that information below. Check out images for easy to view causes.

PRESCRIPTIONS that make you sensitive to the sun:

HERBS that cause sensitivity

FOODS that help or cause:

"5 Foods That Help Decrease Photosensitivity"

"After you consume celery, dill, figs, fennel, lime, parsley or grapefruit, take steps to shield your skin from the sun as these foods have been shown to increase your skin’s sunburn risk."

SALMON

"Salmon is one of these superfoods! This delicious fish contains astaxanthin (a carotenoid that accounts for the pink color in certain plants and animals), which has been shown to reduce inflammation from sunburns and also block cellular damage from UV rays."

"A diet rich in omega-3s from fish oil can help make sunburn less severe and may help prevent the development of skin cancer, according to research. Salmon, sardines, herring and trout are all excellent sources of omega-3s."

SOME SOLUTIONS IDEAS
