"Boluoke (also known as Lumbrokinase), a purified mix of enzymes from Lumbricus rubellus (earthworm), may be a great therapeutic treatment for bacterial infections, because it helps break down the biofilms. Boluoke contains six enzymes derived from the digestive tract of the 2 species of earthworm Red Wriggler or Red Marsh, which are usually found in apple orchards. Therapy with earthworms is not new at all. It has been used by practitioners of Chinese Medicine since ancient times."
"One of the advantages of Boluoke® (lumbrokinase) is that it does not interfere with the clotting cascade, but instead, works by reducing fibrinogen and fibrin. Boluoke® does not affect INR or aPTT, thus is compatible with Coumadin or heparin."
"Lumbrokinase may:
break apart biofilms,
improve blood flow to the tissues by decreasing sticky blood (hypercoagulation),
decrease crampy muscle pain, and
improve supplement or prescription medicine delivery deep into the tissues."
"You might think that you can just go to the vitamin store, pick up a lumbrokinase enzyme supplement and you will be getting the same benefits as taking Boluoke. Unfortunately, you would be incorrect.
Boluoke is a highly concentrated and medically studied lumbrokinase extract. It is the only medically studied earthworm supplement. Like many of the products I recommend, Boluoke is superior to all the competing lumbrokinase enzyme supplements that are available."
"Lumbrokinase is a fibrinolytic enzyme that breaks down fibrin inside and outside of blood vessels. The brand name Boluoke manufactured by Canada RNA has proven to be the most effective lumbrokinase. Enzymes used to break down fibrin should always be taken on an empty stomach, at least 30 minutes before meals."

Notes on comparing Bouleke to AR brand
From my understanding after discussing the questions with the company and doctors, the capsules will, more or less, be equivalent to one another. Two of Allergy Research capsules are 600,000 IU (from the label), and one of their capsules is 300,000 LKU.
The confusion here comes from the units. The reason AR puts IU on their label is because they don’t have a laboratory that is able to test the specific units of LKU to verify, but from information from the manufacturer, vendors, etc, it is formulated to have 300,000 LKU strength.
I imagine they are fairly equivalent, but I do not know all the systems Bouleke has in place in terms of quality, testing, etc. I know Allergy Research certainly does their due diligence over there from representatives i have spoken too. Since several lyme doctors use both brands, i see both as trustworthy. I believe that they are making a comparable product. I don't know if any of them could ever truly prove one is better than the other. Unless they did that study specifically. One of them doing a test is not sufficient data to prove superiority. Anyways that is my take.
Many have mentioned this one too.
