BAND 41

Updated: Apr 27

So band 41 comes up a lot so we decided to do a post with information about it.

Band 41 is kinda famous in this Lyme world. Many of us have this and sometimes its the only one that pops up. My very first Lyme test ONLY showed 41. Of course, making me question and doubt the path I was pursuing. Nevertheless, I searched harder to see if Lyme was what was slowly bringing me to my knees healthwise.

I retested 6 weeks later. I am sad for the many people that move on after seeing just 41 and having an uneducated doctor tell them it's not Lyme. I had 5 bands appear on the next test and was CDC positive. Then I tested co-infections and ended up having Rocky mountain spotted fever, Babesia Duncani, Erhlichia, and Bartonella. He said it was one bad ass tick!
