Below you will find resources on possible causes as well as solutions for bloating. Sometimes it takes trying a few things to find the right thing that helps. Sticking with it for awhile before giving up on the solution is important too. The cause can be all over the place. I've had multiple causes over the years.
Here are a few things that can often help. I swear by low fodmap diet, a histamine probiotic and Atrantil. Those made the biggest difference for my bloating issues. Once my issues resolve I eliminate the Atrantil.
Any supplements below are 25% here:
Alphabetical order, not by importance.
ABDOMINAL MASSAGE
"A basic massage will involve moving your fingertips in a circular motion over the abdomen, starting on your lower right side and traveling clockwise up to your rib cage, then across and down to your pelvis, he says."
ATRANTIL
Amazing for bloating. My doctor has used this in my protocol over the years several times. I usually have to use several bottles. He said one bottle isn't enough. Great for SIBO. It is $29.99 on the Fullscript above, usually 10 dollars higher elsewhere.
ENZYMES
There are many great enzyme products in the post below but he has me use Integrative Therapeutics Sensitive Stomach before each meal (90 caps for $19.49 with the 25% off). He also has me take the Diem DAO Histamine Digest enzymes (60 caps for $42 or 120 caps for $67 with the discount)
GI RELIEF
LOW FODMAP DIET (helpful supplements too mentioned in top articles here) type fodmap into catalog search bar when logged into Fullscript. FODMATE is mentioned most as an enzyme for breaking down high fodmap foods. It is $42 for 120 caps. Usually $56. I have not used it but will in future if I need additional support in this area.
MEALS
Eat slowly and chew well. Small meals and sit up straight after you eat. Cooked veggies over raw and don't overdo it on gassy vegetables. Room temperature drinks. Lemon water helps.
POTASSIUM
Potassium can help the kidneys get rid of salt, which may help with water retention. I use the one by Douglas Labs Potassium 99. It is 100 capsules for $12. I don't use this if my electrolyte product contains it.
PROBIOTICS
Some probiotics can cause gas etc and some help. Keep this in mind when choosing a probiotic. I am sensitive to many probiotics and have histamine issues, so I rotate 2 different ones every few months and take at bedtime. These are winners for me.
*Seeking health ProBiota HistaminX (60 caps for $24.74 with discount)
or
*Megaspore (60 caps/$48 or 180/$124 with the 25% off)
They also have me add in Klaire LactoPrime Plus occasionally. It is free of inulin and other prebiotics making it more suitable for dietary restrictions. I dose that during day in addition to the bedtime ones ONLY when I am on antibiotics or need additional probiotic support. The Klaire one is 60 caps for $33.
For Saccharomyces boulardii I use the Floramyces by Designs for Health. It is special freeze-dried strain of non-GMO Saccharomyces boulardii isolated from Litchi fruits. It is a dairy and lactose free formula. $34 for 60 capsules with discount.

PROPER HYDRATION
Drinking water will soften your stools making it easier to pass and quickly reduces bloating in the form of gas and constipation.
SHORT WALKS
Exercise increases motility
SUNFIBER
(in case constipation is part of the issue and you add fiber that worsens the issue....this one does not cause bloating and is low fodmap/SIBO friendly) I buy on fullscript for 25% off. I have bought all brands on there of Sunfiber. Tomorrow's Nutrition Pro for $27 is usually in stock.
TEAS
Ginger, mint and Chamomile tea to name a few. 3 great brands of organic tea on Fullscript at 25% off as well. Earth Mama Organic has a tea with all of the above in it called Ginger Nausea Tea. Just over $5 dollars with discount. I like that one.
